@mobinfiltrator The disability is &hit and survivor benefits are limited to the maximum amount for a single individual. Technically, two people might receive 2 x max, when one dies the survivor doesn’t receive twice.
@BarbLarochelle Lived in Edmonton/Leduc from 1974-96. We have 3 weeks of hot weather, where AC might be needed but didn’t have it. Remember thought, the urban heat affect, Edmonton is much larger. And, it takes moisture to get moisture, lakes also dries up during these years.

@nandouglas Gee, the internet is a great source of information Nan, the cost per kWh in Medicine Hat for July 2026 was $0.07/kWh. I don’t think it can be much cheaper. I don’t think the NDP can do better.

@cdnrefugee Why exactly were you expecting, fuel is based on the world price of oil, Alberta imports much of its food. After 2 months you should have noticed no sales tax, and if you are working you will notice a larger take home income. It’s still cheaper in Alberta than anywhere in Canada
