RTS Map Editor Navigation Tool 🧭

The 'navigation visibility' toggle is an amazing tool that helps us create the best maps possible straight from the in-game map editor. Without it, I'd have to constantly stop the project and verify things from the engine side. WITH it, I can easily see where my units can or cannot go with a simple button press. Correctly aligning this bridge was easy (also created using the in-game 3D modeling tool 😎).

The possibilities that this feature opens up is almost endless. The vision is to allow players to create their own custom objects, save them for quick access or to share those saved objects with the community.

I don’t see how handmade everything doesn’t come sweeping back in a huge tsunami. Everything: films, music, games, art. All of it is going to be heavily human (and so obvious, and marketed that way). I’m feeling a deep craving for all of this. Maybe I’m getting old, or I’m feeling a desire everyone else is feeling.

This is why I will say have external physical hard drives to keep your items, for the AI system they want us all to go to is not as sold or sound as they try to make it seem. I hope the artist can get his items back.

do you understand what Google's AI just did to an artist..

His entire Google account got permanently banned. Not just Drive. Gmail.. YouTube.. Every single service..

His appeal was rejected. No human reviewed it. An algorithm decided his life's work was a violation.

He never shared the files publicly. It was a private backup of his own creations. The AI flagged it anyway - probably the filename or art style - and that was enough.

- Google banned a developer's 14-year-old Gmail account over a research dataset that contained no illegal content
- Google expanded its automated ban policy in October 2025 - violations now trigger immediate termination with zero warning period
- No lawsuit against Google for wrongful account termination has ever succeeded in US courts

Your Google account is not yours. You are renting access to your own digital life from a company whose AI can end it in seconds - with no appeal, no human, and no recourse.
