Daisy the Husky needs to find her best friend. She is 2 years old and weighs a dinky 18kg. She was very nervous on arrival with us, and took a few days to find her feet, but now she’s used the routine and has bonded with us, she’s settled brilliantly and is showing us her amazing, sassy, clever, cheeky, loyal and loving personality. Daisy is clean in her kennel, so appears to be housetrained.
She knows a few basic commands, but decides herself when she’d like to do them… she’s a typical Husky!! She has shown no issues around other dogs, and may be able to live with a similar breed neutered male. No small breeds, or small furries for Daisy.
She will need a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods, and given her age and breed, she will need quite an active lifestyle, although she doesn’t appear to be hugely ‘high energy’ and does settle very well in her kennel.
Daisy is ‘skitty’ on lead, and still nervous in new places, so will need quieter walks to begin with so that she can build up her confidence at her own pace whilst she bonds with her new owner. She will be nervous with new people, and naturally ‘aloof’ with strangers, but incredibly loyal with ‘her’ people.
