@CJBaileyFC @CHOPSmedia @AndySaunders_1 Actually, it is the Aurora Australis, the southern equivalent of the Northern Lights - why does everyone have to be impolite to each other on X?

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

@Rocky_Scofield @MattWallace888 @grok The Arora Australis; the southern equivalent to the Northern Lights. Beautiful!

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

That’s it. Had enough of this tripe. So much rubbish on X now it’s time to leave. Deleting the app and not returning, happy click baiting 🙄

An absolutely stunning vie of the recent temperature inversion over Scotland, from the Summit of Ben Lui, on Tuesday.

@EISUnion ACCEPT, ACCEPT, ACCEPT: thank you for asking!

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

@BoltzmannBrainy @EISUnion Surely it is for the members to decide what is a reasonable offer?

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

@em1806_ @BoltzmannBrainy @EISUnion Notably the number of teachers deciding not to strike today, who have previously supported the current action, is indicative of the frustration many of us feel with the lack of consultation. The Unions work for us, not the other way round.

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

@Thisisboringno1 @EISUnion You are entitled to your opinion. Colleagues who actively strike CHOOSE to do so and lose part of their salary. We have not had a pay cut, inflation has overtaken our salary increases. But guess what, we are still better paid than many.

[Dave @Stumpyjack]

@MrModster72 @EISUnion Yup, I get it. I remember. 30yrs in teaching and it still love my profession, I still think we are paid a reasonable salary, and I think we all need to be realistic about how lucky we are.
