A new @CDCMMWR study shows that people who reported always wearing masks or respirators in indoor public settings in California were less likely to test positive for #COVID19 compared with those who reported not wearing a face covering. Learn more. https://t.co/T8gaqiPHyI
Brodd agrees that GF is complying, yet Chauvin is still kneeling on GF.
Chauvin did not lessen the level of use of force, but Brodd claims GF was not fully compliant because would be resting comfortably.
Did you say, “resting comfortably?” SS says incredulously.
@LeezleC@MaryMoriarty There's a long horrible history of using "feels less pain" and "superhuman strength" to justify harming black men. Who are, of course, humans who feel pain.
@mmaniac90@rochelleolson Was just thinking that! Does she not know we are now all breathing experts? (she wouldn't have been allowed to watch Dr. Tobin's testimony, so no)
Derek Chauvin's trial is resuming. Judge Cahill just told the jury he needs to deal with an issue that they cannot be in the room for, audio/video will be cut, but the 2 courtroom reporters will be allowed to stay & let the media pool know what's up when they get a break.
At 24:21, Tobin says we can see Floyd had suffered brain injury, a myotonic seizure - as evidenced by his kicking out his leg - what physicians see when someone suffers low-level of oxygen.
Tobin: Chauvin’s right knee was on GF 57% of the time. He can’t say about the other 43% because he couldn’t get a good view.
Whether the right knee was on back, arm, or “rammed into his side” makes no difference in creating breathing issues.
@MaryMoriarty@Hammy04636585@HennepinHC Dr. Ho stepped down from his Axon's medical director after Sen. Jeff Hayden and others called him out for a conflict, but I believe he/the hospital still works with Axon in other capacities. https://t.co/5dTBbv1mkH
