It was a privilege to conduct a training program for the forest officials of #Ghumsur Forest Division on Meadow Development. The session covered the following key topics:
1. Principles and step-by-step process of meadow development
2. Identification of native grass species suitable for habitat restoration
3. Identification and management of invasive and undesirable weed species
4. Identification and ecological importance of leguminous plant species
5. Techniques for grass seed collection, processing, and storage
6. Role of meadows in long-term wildlife habitat management and biodiversity conservation
7. Best practices for sustainable meadow restoration and maintenance
The interactive session emphasized the importance of scientifically managed meadows in enhancing wildlife habitats, improving forage availability, and supporting ecosystem health.
