Special recognition goes to Robby Chitambo, who was awarded the President’s Medal of Gallantry for helping in the rescue of 13 young women who had been abducted and held captive in Lusaka.

Coach Carol Kanyemba was honoured with the Insignia of Meritorious Achievement for leading Zambia to qualification for three consecutive FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cups.

As we celebrate 62 years of independence, may their example inspire us all to build a stronger, brighter and more united Zambia.
