@CollinRugg A flood warning siren system very likely could have saved her life. Kerr County had two recent prior fatal flood events, but they neglected to invest in a warning system, a warning system two downstream counties have had for 26 years. Kerr County leaders - inept at public safety.

@AmericanAir Sure would have been nice for you to PROACTIVELY update and show a delay on AA6201 BEFORE it was 0 minutes left to board so I didn't have to rush to your poverty remote terminal so soon.
@AmericanAir Yes, a departure at 6:25pm when the crew hasn't even landed yet. Your operations team in Dallas is alseep at the computer screen. The operations agent at the gate already announced a full hour delay, but your app is lying to you and everyone else.
@Pravduh15@CollinRugg Claims don't have to be filed for modeled estimates of probable loss costs that are generally very accurate. The fact is the Guadalupe from Kerrville to Canyon Lake has much less building value than the Llano from Junction to Lake Travis. Just the facts.
@HassLiebe777@Pravduh15@CollinRugg It happens in Kerr County every 15 to 20 years. That's a completely normal interval for this on that river.... look up the records. This is Texas weather. It was totally mismanaged all three of the most recent events, though. 1987, 2002, 2025.
@philkillerlain The flood of record on the midsection of that river was set in 1869. Has nothing to do with climate change or development. That part of Texas has no top soil. It's just rock all the way to the surface. It's naturally a concrete surface, so it's been flooding for centuries
