If you want to Japa soon , take your time to read this
7 things that can increase your chances of visa approval to almost any country:
1) Strong motivation (Your Why or Cover Letter)
Visa officers want to understand the real reason for your trip. Whether it is study, work, tourism, or family visit, your purpose must be clear, genuine, and logical. For example, choosing a course that matches your previous education or career is stronger than choosing something random. Even if you’re changing your course, you must explain the reasons well.
2) Sufficient funds
You must prove you can financially support yourself without becoming a burden. This may include tuition fees, accommodation, feeding, transport, and return travel costs. The money should be genuine, traceable, and available for use. Countries like Canada , New Zealand, Germany and some other European countries expect you to explain the source of your proof of funds.
3) Good organization
A clean and properly arranged application creates a strong impression. Use correct file names, clear scans, and submit documents in order. A disorganized application can make even good documents harder to assess. Organise your documents so well that it gives the visa officer less questions.
4) Avoid technical errors
Many refusals happen because of simple mistakes: wrong passport number, inconsistent dates, missing pages, unsigned forms, wrong document uploads, or selecting the wrong visa category. Always review everything before submission.
5) Submit important documents
Do not submit only the bare minimum if stronger evidence is available. Include admission letters, employment letters, bank statements, tax records, travel history, sponsor documents, accommodation proof, or relationship evidence where relevant.
6) Honest and consistent information
Every detail should match across your form, documents, and interview answers. If you say you earn a certain salary, it should align with your bank records. False information or contradictions can lead to refusal or bans. Always declare every previous refusals , don’t listen to fake travel agents that tells you not to.
7) Strong ties / Clear future plans
Visa officers often assess whether you will obey visa conditions. Show reasons you are likely to return or comply: ongoing job, business, family responsibilities, property, or clear career plans after study.
Important truth: No one can guarantee visa approval, but a truthful, well-prepared, and logical application usually has a better chance than a rushed one.
All the best
Nigeria’s Passport Plunges From 90th To 181st Position. Visa-Free Access Falls From 44 Destinations To 24
Nigeria’s passport has reportedly dropped to 181st out of 196 countries in the latest IziVisa Passport Ranking Index, down from 90th position in July 2026.
According to data published on https://t.co/P9ueSkFASY, Nigerians can travel to 24 countries visa-free, obtain visas on arrival in 16 countries and access 43 countries through electronic visas.
The report highlights a decline in Nigeria’s visa-free score from 44 destinations in July to 24 in the latest IziVisa ranking.
IziVisa explained that passports are ranked according to the number of destinations their holders can access without obtaining a visa beforehand, including visa-free entry, visas on arrival and electronic visas.
The United Arab Emirates leads the 2026 ranking, with access to 185 of 198 destinations through the three travel categories, while Switzerland occupies second position. Luxembourg, Malta, Denmark, Spain and Finland also feature prominently.
Separately, the July 2026 Henley Passport Index placed Nigeria 90th out of 199 passports, with visa-free access to 44 destinations. The index, published by Henley & Partners, assesses passports against 227 travel destinations using data from the International Air Transport Association.
Among African countries, South Africa ranked 49th globally, with access to 101 destinations, followed by Botswana in 61st position with 81 destinations. Morocco ranked 67th with 71 destinations, while Kenya placed 68th with 70.
Ghana ranked 70th, with access to 67 destinations, while Nigeria shared its position with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Turkmenistan in the Henley ranking.
However, the IziVisa and Henley indices use different methodologies and coverage, meaning their rankings are not directly comparable.
Showunmi Says Tinubu Is Wiser Than Atiku & Peter Obi
Segun Showunmi, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has defended President Bola Tinubu's plan not to attend every campaign rally ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said the President is adopting a smarter approach and does not need to travel the country.
Speaking at a press briefing last week, Showunmi said Tinubu is a thousand times wiser than opposition candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, and will defeat them again in 2027 with or without attending the rallies.

Nas was ordered to pay his ex-wife Kelis $51,101 a month in 2009. By 2018 she was getting $8,000, and she went back to court for more.
She says she came home with a 3-month-old baby to a foreclosure notice on the door. When she called him about it, she says his answer was "go f*** yourself."
She filed for divorce in April 2009, seven months pregnant with their son Knight. The divorce was final in May 2010.
The court record:
$44,000 a month in temporary support was ordered in July 2009, a day after Knight was born.
$20,000 was what his lawyer offered as a one-time payment instead. The judge said no.
$51,101 a month was the December 2009 order: $40,454 spousal support and $10,647 child support.
$2.5 million was what he testified he owed the IRS in back taxes.
$8,000 a month in child support was the order once spousal support ended.
February 2018: she filed to raise it, saying his income "would support a child support order in excess of $8,000 per month."
March 2018: they settled on joint custody.
Do the math. $51,101 a month is $613,212 a year. $8,000 a month is $96,000 a year. That is 84% less.
Her claim: she always put the money down on their properties and he paid the mortgage. Then, she says, he stopped paying while she was in New York having the baby.
The case for Kelis: "His needs and expenditures have materially changed since the Judgment has been entered." She also asked for half of school, child care and health costs.
The case for Nas: "Didn't want to bring up money but since that's the fuel behind all of this," he wrote. "I paid for your cooking school cordon blue. The expensive yellow stove we had flown in from Europe. I helped pay for the remodeling of your house."
In the video below, listen for what she says about ever asking him for money: "I have never, ever, ever asked that man for a penny."
If you were her, would you have gone back to court for more than $8,000 a month?
6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united.
I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us.
Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍
