@tessaapproves It is a very common misconception. You do have to have one on turning 16 (Ausweispflicht). This does not mean you need to have it on your Person at all times. You’re not the first one to find that funny. I myself have mine on me most of the time. Especially since I cross the

@morphany Vielleicht musst du aber mal nach Bundesland differenzieren. Hier in Sachsen Region Vogtland machen die Kindergärten insgesamt 8 Tage im Jahr zu. Davon 5 um Weihnachten. Und die Kosten, ca. 35-90 Euro zzgl. Essen im Monat. Find ich so tragbar. Also, nicht überall ist’s doof. ;-)
@anwaltsgelaber Ich weiß es ist nicht München, aber in Kassel gibt es das Museum für Sepulkralkultur. Bevor du nachschlägst, Sepulkral heißt Begräbnis. Das ist nicht nur langweilig, sondern auch noch tot. ;-)
@tbas7000 Pills or salve. Pills are very good against rheumatoid arthritis and everything concerning muscles or tendons. Salve is ok but not much of the substance is absorbed by the skin. It’s more for superficial problems. Read the book by @ApothekerDer - There is a whole chapter on that.
@bolisa3 Ah, now I get the problem. But nevertheless my last reply stands… It might be possible your world started to revolve the normal way again since you stopped teaching. ;-) But then what is „normal“. That’s a very philosophic question.
@b_wilm @germany_iam For perspective: most Tarifverträge gave a minimum of 30 paid days. And that is a standard since around 1980 in west Germany. Many small businesses grant less but to be clear: all business with real power give 30 or more days.
@wanderingFranzi @tessaapproves Problem is that these topics aren’t really covered in West Germany. So many students, that includes immigrants, have never heard about SED and some other regional things.
@tessaapproves @TheNut I‘m from Hessen. GDR Politics wasn’t really a topic in History lessons. We stopped at the end of WW2. So I’m lucky I got most of them right.
