But the person behind the meme, Sammy Griner, didn’t automatically get paid every time the internet used it.

That’s what @UsePaid is trying to change.

Fees generated by the meme can flow directly to Sammy through X Money without requiring him to be associated with any crypto project. The meme pays its creator.

@laneymg, wanted to explain what we’re building with @UsePaid around Success Kid so there’s no confusion about crypto or what Sammy would need to do.

The idea is simple: when Success Kid generates fees, those fees are designated for the meme’s original creator, Sammy, through his X account @GrinerSamm8500.

Sammy does not need to join, promote, endorse, buy, sell, or otherwise be associated with any memecoin or crypto project. The goal is the opposite: the meme can generate value while its creator simply receives the creator fees.

For the payment side, we have used @XMoney, so there’s no request for you or Sammy to connect a crypto wallet, purchase a token, invest money, or participate in a crypto project. Any activation or verification required by X Money would be handled through X’s official system and remain under Sammy’s control.

We want Success Kid to demonstrate a very simple idea: a meme that creates value for millions of people can create value for the person behind it too.
