Obi and Tinubu are both in Court.
Obi is begging for his past to be released...
Tinubu is begging for his past not to be released...
If Obi is not your choice for 2027 you're an enemy of Nigeria
Celebrating My Eldest Brother at 75
Today, 30th August 2026, I celebrate my eldest brother, Dominic Ositadimma Obi, who turns 75. I celebrate him not merely because he is my elder brother or because of his age, but because he is an exemplary human being.
When I was Governor of Anambra State for eight years, he never came to my office or the Governor’s Lodge for a day seeking favours, as many might have expected. He is a planner and contractor who builds homes for people, yet not once did he ask me for a government contract.
Whenever we met, he would warmly embrace me and tell me that he was fine. He would then solemnly remind me to keep doing what I promised the people and never bring a bad name to the family and my community. He would tell me that whatever difficulties he was going through, many others were worse off, and that I should do my best for society.
I later came to understand that this was not peculiar to him alone. My family members had actually held a meeting and resolved that none of them would take advantage of my position as Governor. They decided that whatever good name I was building for the Obi family and Agulu must be protected. The same principle extended to my children.
Today, at 75, my beloved brother remains deeply concerned about Nigeria. Whenever we speak, he is full of prayers and good wishes. He constantly reminds me that if I have the opportunity to serve Nigeria, I should do so with honesty, integrity, and the interest of the people at heart.
Brother Dom, I thank God for the gift of your life and for the example you have set for our family. Your integrity, humility, contentment, and sense of responsibility are qualities worthy of celebration.
May God Almighty, who has graciously been with you all these years, grant you good health, His abundant grace, and blessings.
Happy 75th birthday, my dearest brother. -PO
The reason why ADELEKE triumphed is that voters came out 43% percent is better than the recent voter turnout
If at least 60m people come out in 2027 the elections will be too big to rig
Nigerians must come out
We condemn in the strongest terms the appearance of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani, at a partisan event promoting a particular candidate in the upcoming general election.
We understand that the rudderless APC-led administrations have no iota of respect for our institutions, but seeing a Commissioner of Police at a partisan event can only point to one thing: HE WILL BE BIASED in the discharge of his duties during the elections. We therefore demand that the @PoliceNG authorities immediately suspend and sanction the Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani.
We further demand:
- That the Police authorities make a firm commitment to playing a neutral role in the upcoming election.
- That the Police authorities protect voters and supporters of other candidates who are not members of the ruling party.
- That the Police ensure the safety of the lives and property of all voters, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or party affiliation.
Finally, we demand that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police tender his resignation immediately for denigrating the institution of the Police.
Peter Obi went on Channels TV and engaged in issues concerning Nigeria.
Tinubu sent Oshiomhole to TVC News to call Peter Obi a trader.
Again, APC has nothing to campaign with.
They are looting your nation dry.
Buying estates abroad for themselves and families.
They're global citizens with access to any country of their choices
Should Nigeria implode they have options and you don't.
Yet you're busy supporting them?
You as common Nigerian can’t even apply for U.S visa. Yet the first family are in the U.S getting Directors seat at the world Cup at almost $100k for all of them. Mind you Nigeria is not even at the World Cup.
When will you people have sense. I’m talking to the APC folks that can’t even eat. When will you guys have brains.
Nigeria has now been delisted from the International Maths Olympiad, whose finals are happening in Shanghai, China, this July.
It is one of the most prestigious academic competitions in the world.
Nigeria can now only participate as an observer nation, while other countries can participate fully.
This was because of the Ministry of Education’s inability to fund students for 4 consecutive years through National Mathematical Center.
It’s a big shame for Nigeria.
My father, Comrade ABC Ubani JP took pictures with several governors of Anambra State including the present governor of the State, but in our family sitting room we only have enlarged pictures he took with Peter Obi, while he served as the governor of Anambra State.
I once asked him, what Peter Obi has done for him that made him practically decorate our sitting room with his pictures.
He first said, that I should snap a picture with a governor first beyond asking him that question.
He went further to say, that before Obi became governor, they (Anambra civil servants) saw hell with respect to worker's welfare, payment of pensions and gratuities. Both my parents were state civil servants, now pensioners.
My father has been a Labour union leader since 1994, so he understood the government-workers faceoff, before Peter Obi practically made life easier for workers in the state.
When he, my father who is now 74 years old retired to the village a few years ago, his portraits with Peter Obi was one of the things he took with him. He moved them from our family house in Awka to our family house in Enugwu-Ukwu, where he is now spending his last days while still serving as the State Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners, Anambra State, which makes him the longest serving union leader in Anambra state today.
The Comrade as I call him is a prolific writer who wrote so many bulletins against former State govenors of Anambra. When I was much younger he was arrested a few times for some of his controversial releases against governors of the State. I remember my mother, Mrs Rose Ubani searching for days to find where he and his colleagues were being held.
When Peter Obi was first removed from office, which should be around 2007 or 2008, I was about 16 years old. But I remember like it was yesterday my mother calling for us to fast and pray as a family for him to be reinstated, and we did fast - our welfare as a family dependend on that. Graciously, Obi made a comeback. Two comebacks, to the glory of God.
Therefore when you see me defending Peter Obi on this space, it is not for nothing. It is a burden I must discharge in appreciating a man who made the difference in the governance of Anambra State.
No Peter Obi slander will see the light of the day, once I'm here, and I will be here for a very long time!
When I criticise the current governor of Anambra state, is not out of hate, but for the love of Anambra. I criticised his predecessor and I know what it cost me. I do not mind paying a costlier price today.
My loyalty is not to any governor, but to my State, Anambra.
My name is Kingsley Ubani , and I'm just getting started.
Kenneth Okonkwo said if OBIdients insults him on social media, that he will release dossier that will end Peter Obi's political carrier.
Obidients amplified the insult, as though that wasn't enough. Mr. Obi himself went to Rufai Oseni's podcast and asked Kenneth Okonkwo to release any record he had about him, even from primary school.
He also went further to say that if anyone could bring out any evidence of corruption against him, he would stop campaigning. That's audacity!
That's why many of us support him blindly.
As a survivor of kidnapping and banditry, I can tell you that these criminals believe that no matter how much they take from you, you will eventually work and earn it back after your release.
Let me use myself as an example. After my family paid the ₦15 million ransom they demanded, along with other items worth over ₦600,000, they still weren't satisfied. They continued demanding more money and eventually asked for ₦55 million. They even told my mother to sell her house and car to raise the money.
Because my family rented a vehicle to deliver the ransom and other requested items, the kidnappers assumed we owned the car and were wealthy. They kept insisting that we sell all our properties and hand over the proceeds to them.
Omo, it was a terrible ordeal. The fear, pressure, and emotional torture were overwhelming. Watching my family struggle to meet their endless demands was heartbreaking.
One painful reality is that they often target ordinary and struggling people like us because we are easier to capture than the elites, who usually have better security and protection.
This is why we cannot continue to stay silent. Kidnapping and banditry have destroyed countless lives, families, and dreams across Nigeria. We need to raise our voices, stand together as a nation, and demand urgent action against insecurity.
Today it may be someone else's family. Tomorrow it could be yours. Enough is enough. 💔🇳🇬🙏🏽
Beheading a whole person in front of me will send me into psychotic shock. Imagine doing that in front of abducted children in a country where they’ll never get comprehensive mental help.
Your life is as good as destroyed even if you escape. Please guys, we must end APC today!
This is Ngozi Lawrence Okolie, representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State.
He was elected under Labour Party (LP) in 2023.
In May 2025, he defected to APC.
Obidients, take note📌
