@slbsn Thanks for responding. Sorry, but I thought that was their point. i.e. that had the 6 point deduction taken place in 21/22 EFC would have been relegated instead of them?
@studomigan@IanG1878 Agreed, but in addition to that, the PL rules at that time did not allow for points deductions in the same season, which is Burnleyโs argument. So surely the issue is with the PL?
@meads29@GiuliaBould I was thinking the same thing. The PL rules at that time did not allow for points deductions in the same season. Therefore Burnleyโs assertion that they should have been is not EFCโs problem?
@EFCLyndon@CrawfordTartan One point I donโt quite understand. Burnley argue that the points deduction should have taken place in the 21/22 season. However, the PL rules didnโt allow for that at that time. (The process has since been expedited). So surely Burnleyโs argument becomes irrelevant doesnโt it?
@TacticallyMatt I have read a view which speculates that TFG will have secured an indemnity from Moshiri in the sale agreement. In addition, EFCโs recent statement says no effect.
@EvertonViews Get that, but 29 is not old anymore. Maybe he loves the club enough to continue in the Championship. (Wage drop?) But it would be unusual for a player of his ability and profile.
