The daughter of infamous Islamophobe Tarek Fatah, Natasha has carried forward her father’s troubling legacy. Known for her bias, she shamelessly dismissed the term "genocide," saying, “We cannot use that word to describe what is happening,” and reduced the devastation to “whatever it is called.”

Let’s be clear: genocide is exactly what you call it. Leading human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and numerous other human rights organizations as well as prominent experts in Genocide and Holocaust Studies, agree:

1) Amos Goldberg, Jonah M. Machover Chair in Holocaust Studies, Hebrew University of Jerusalem

2) Raz Segal, Associate Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Stockton University

3) Omar Bartov, Samuel Pisar Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Brown University

Note: All four of them are Jewish.

Even @CBCNews own policies appear to contradict Natasha's dismissive stance.

She owes an apology, and CBC must go beyond a simple acknowledgment of her failure to meet journalistic standards. Accountability is overdue.

First of all, I need to clarify that it was @FlyFrontier not AlaskaAir.
Lady who comes to me with questions was very rude from the very beginning, even though I speak very decent English and can understand everything and agreed to assist, she still insists on removing me from my seat. What was the base for that, racial, national or other one, I'm not sure.
But after 2 minutes of conversation, she called security and I was deplaned from this aircraft, after 1,5 hour I boarded another airline one and left to my destination.
I did my best to stay calm and respecttul as you can see on the video.
But those crew members could do better next time and just be nice with clients.

And yet, staff members supporting an 🇮🇱 state that is committing genhoside can intimidate students, try to intimidate visiting lecturers, without any consequences.

@janephilpott resigned, but the institution is still clearly full of Anti-Palestinian racism.

Its quite upsetting to me personally seeing this- I worked at @QueensuDOM for several years and it hurts to know that the students and staff I cared for so much are in such an environment.

Freezing to death due to a lack of decent shelter or housing is entirely preventable. Eight Palestinian babies in Gaza have been killed this way over the past few days because of Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people fuelled by the capitalist and colonial interests of the imperial West. A community member in Ottawa died this way this week as well, because of capitalist interests in the housing system in the colonial West by developers and corporations always putting profits over people. Housing is a human right - from Turtle Island to Palestine.
