Received mail from @vfsglobalcare. Mentioning, there are no appointments for Blue card visa. Whereas all the other consulates in India are providing Visa appointment. Why not Bangalore consulate?

Also there is no clear input from Vfs if our applications are in waitlist or not considered. We are clueless. We are unable to decide next steps.

Indians who are fully vaccinated with Covishield are being asked to quarantine in GER. Health authorities are refusing to accept CoWin certificates.Request your intervention here @AmbLindnerIndia @eoiberlin@MEAIndia@DrSJaishankar@rki_de
@themojostory@IndiaToday@Geeta_Mohan contrary to what was said in the interviews, people arriving in Germany are being forced to quarantine despite of being fully vaccinated with the indian version of AstraZeneca vaccine, Covishield
@TheLocalGermany Please also consider Indian students/employees as we are essential. Students have their OFFLINE exams in coming weeks. We need to be in germany. Our career is at stake. #Educationisnottourism
@Smita_Sharma@IndiaAheadNews@GermanyinIndia@mukhia_ji Request you to also raise questions about employment visa on hold since January 21 for Germany. I applied for employment visa on 29 January 21 but still have not got my visa. There was no travel ban in place at that time from India. I have left my job and still waiting for visa.
"Vaccines helps against all known virus variants" - @jensspahn
If vaccination provides protection against all variants, why can't we let in Employees from India and add them to the list of "Absolute need for travel" because their families are dependent on it
The travel ban on India has been for more than 2 months already, and this has resulted in employees who have left their jobs in India hoping for a future in Germany.
They are now left jobless and their careers are jeopardized.
While Switzerland, Netherlands, Poland and Austria have exempted Employees from the travel ban, why not Germany?
Exempt Employees from the travel ban on India as suggested by EU Exemption Guidelines.
