الكثير من الناس يظنون أن الصور التي تُرسل عبر واتساب، إنستغرام، و X (تويتر سابقاً) تحتفظ بمعلومات الموقع (جيولوكيشن).
لكن هذه المعلومة غير صحيحة! هذه المنصات تقوم بحذف البيانات الوصفية (metadata) و إحداثيات GPS من الصور عند إرسالها لحماية خصوصية المستخدمين.
