Earlier today, I attended the Maulud Nabiyy celebration in Kaduna State. I was warmly received by a huge and jubilant crowd as I arrived at the Murtala Square, Kaduna, venue of the celebration.

I used the opportunity to appreciate our religious leaders, the Imams and Ulamas, for their tireless efforts in promoting peaceful coexistence in our communities. I also urged our people to continue to live in peace and harmony to ensure the sustenance of important celebrations like Maulud Nabiyy. This year's Maulud celebration is possible because of the prevailing peace in our dear state. We must therefore work collectively to forge lasting peace and harmony.

I assured the gathering of people of faith that our administration will remain steadfast in supporting initiatives that strengthen interfaith dialogue, foster mutual respect, and advance the Kaduna Peace Model. Together, we shall continue to build a society anchored on justice, tolerance, and shared progress.

H.E. KASHIM SHETTIMA AT 59 : WARM FELICITATIONS TO AN ARTICULATE AND OUTSTANDING LEADER

On behalf of the Government and good people of Kaduna State, I wish to extend my warm felicitations to our highly cerebral, articulate and resourceful Vice President on the auspicious occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.

We commend His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON for his selfless services to Nigeria. He is one of the major pillars of President Tinubu's comprehensive reform of Nigeria's economy. The Vice President's inclusive and result oriented leadership style has helped in repositioning the National Econonic Council and making it a pivotal driver of Nigeria's economic recovery.

Nigerians can attest to the Vice President's uncommon commitment and dedication to national causes. He has been deploying his extensive experiences, knowledge and skills in driving the Federal Government's initiative on Financial and Economic Inclusion. His strategic and inclusive approach has been instrumental in garnering the support of key stakeholders for the initiative designed to combat poverty and catalyze sustainable economic growth.
