As we celebrate Madaraka Day, we reflect on a defining moment in Kenya’s history when our nation took its first steps toward self-governance. This day remains a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and determination of our founding leaders who paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.
Madaraka Day calls on all of us to renew our commitment to unity, peace, and nation-building. It is a time to appreciate how far we have come, while also recognizing the responsibility we all share in shaping a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Kenya.
May we continue to honor the legacy of those who fought for our independence by upholding the values of integrity, service, and togetherness in our daily lives.
Happy Madaraka Day to all Kenyans.

I am pleased to present my latest academic contribution titled:
“THE STRATEGIC REALIGNMENT OF US FOREIGN AID UNDER TRUMP’S SECOND ADMINISTRATION: IMPACTS ON GLOBAL GOVERNANCE, DIPLOMACY, AND POWER PROJECTION.”
This study examines how the recalibration of U.S. foreign aid—driven by a more transactional, interest-centric executive approach—reshaped global governance structures, diplomatic relations, and America’s broader power projection.
This work underscores a critical policy dilemma: how to balance immediate national-interest objectives with the long-term foundations of U.S. global leadership.
Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to ongoing debates on foreign policy, global governance, and international diplomacy.

I am delighted to share my 4th and latest scholarly publication titled “AI-Driven Currency Forecasting in Emerging African Economies: Risks of Algorithmic Dependence” Published by Omniscient Pte. Ltd., an international publishing company specializing in open access academic publishing.
This study critically examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming currency forecasting across Africa while also revealing the risks of overreliance on foreign-developed algorithms. Drawing on insights from central bankers, fintech experts, and academics across Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa.
The findings underscore a vital lesson: without context-sensitive AI adoption strategies, African economies risk reproducing new forms of technological and economic dependence in the global financial system.
As Africa continues its digital transformation journey, it is crucial to build local capacity, ensure data sovereignty, and cultivate responsible AI ecosystems that serve our continental interests.
I am grateful to all who supported this work and to Omniscient Pte. Ltd. for providing the platform to share these insights globally.
