I am in Guadalajara. each city has its own unique stuff regarding traffic, but in general it does so good already, just a few missing pieces until we can have 100% FSD drives most of the time
Big main problem we still have in Mexico with FSD are the Speed bumps, it just doesn't brake enough, sometimes it doesn't brake at all.
This is mostly the only reason why we can't yet have 100% FSD drives in Mexico.
This is a video of my having to disengage as FSD wanted to go through speed bumps x2 or x3 the speed it should have gone. Even at the last one, my Model Y (which is not a low car) hit the speed bump because of the speed.
It's kind of frustaring FSD is sooo good, yet we need to disengage every 500m because it can't properly handle a speed bump.

I love FSD, I use it every single day, no matter where I go, that's why I want it be get better 🫶
Last but not least, I am pretty sure having some Early Testers in Mexico will bring a lot more of value to FSD. If it can properly handle situations in Mexico, it will not have any problems driving through other contries with better infrastructure 👀
Starlink Mini 2 is finally entering production, with a built-in battery now confirmed.
The current hardware revision is mini2_prod1.
The new terminal is slightly smaller than the original Starlink Mini. Its panel PCB measures 225 × 273 mm, compared with 236 × 276 mm for Mini 1.
Average EIRP is also slightly lower: 27.4 dBW, compared with 27.57 dBW.
The transmit duty cycle has been reduced significantly, from 75% to 11%, which will result in lower uplink speeds. This limitation is most likely driven by the terminal’s power budget.
The terminal includes a built-in 4S lithium battery managed by a BQ40Z-series BMS. Battery capacity is currently unknown.
Charging is provided via a USB-C Power Delivery port, supporting an input range of 11–24 V.
The MAC thermal thresholds have been increased to 95°C and 99°C, compared with 79°C and 83°C on Mini 1.
The battery thermal shutdown threshold is set to 80°C.
GPS - present. Explicitly configured for in-motion use.
The SoC is the same "Catapult".

Un comportamiento de FSD consistente desde v14.3, siempre se confunde en esta bifurcación (y en muchas otras aunque no las transito diario).
A bajas velocidades puede dar risa, pero imaginate que haga esto en una autopista a +120km/h, no seria muy divertido
