@MalibuMich94@FabrizioRomano You are failing to explain the mechanism by which the buy back clause forces him to sign a contract with Real Madrid when Como owns his contract.
No need to be mean man and I watch plenty of football. In a standard player transaction, the player must agree to the move including agreeing personal terms with the club. He wasn’t out on loan in which case you could be recalled because the parent club would own the contract. It seems based on reporting he wants to back to Como so by what mechanism are Real having his personal terms agreed with them to complete the 9m player transaction? Others in the comments are also perplexed.
@calmdeuter@YoshiJoshi_@FabrizioRomano Maybe it was negotiated as an alternative to a loan where Como would essentially get this 9m as compensation for his development.
Transfer news seems to suggest that clubs are waiting until July 1 to confirm deals. If you are compliant with the rules for the 25/26 season, there is literally no reason to sell a player before July 1.
Clubs which go in and out of Europe have this cycle where they sell their depth when they miss Europe only to need it back when they qualify the next season.
🚨🔵 EXCL: Trevoh Chalobah can leave Chelsea this summer and Como send initial official bid for the centre back.
🇮🇹 Understand Inter have also looked at Chalobah among centre back options.
English CB focused on World Cup but UCL clubs keen.

@avfcadam0 Being entrepreneurs and using football and football infrastructure to generate actual value should be rewarded. If spending has nothing to do with revenue, it’s a false economy which risks hyper-inflation in transfer fees and wages.
Spurs could go with a mass-churn summer where they essentially fire sale a lot of the existing squad to fund big incoming spend. However, Bergvall and Gray who are their most sellable assets become club trained under UEFA rules next year and they have already had issues there.
