This is harsh and insensitive to say in some scenarios but: the key that victim mentality ppl are missing is that it’s impossible to not want to collaborate with and support someone who has good vibes. So you don’t even have to do anything but have good vibes to free yourself from being the victim. Being all doomer and blaming external things is not good vibes so it blocks direct support that would otherwise be so easy. Being all stingy and unhelpful and worried that everyone is taking from you is not good vibes so it blocks direct support. All you have to do is offer your energy and work to have chill vibes. No one actually cares if you’re super skilled or perfect or whatever. People just generally don’t prefer to be around bad vibes so chronic victim mentality pushes help away. Ofc the societal systems and oppressions suck and have great influence- but I’m telling you now that you can free yourself at least to the extent that you don’t feel like a victim.
