@MkmoTeacher I am not sure if this S doesn't understand or is just quick to add. I'd have to know them. I just see it too often that the S has the wrong answer and we rush in to "help". #ci149
@kenneshae@alexelise000 @CameronAMorales @MkmoTeacher Right, so how do we grade a S who starts low but grows big, or the S that starts at an A, stays at an A. #ci149
@kenneshae same! My CLG was great because they told it like it was, it was immediate feedback & detailed in their brutal honesty. I learned so much from them. #ci149
@kenneshae @CameronAMorales @MkmoTeacher Frequent checkins just came to mind, either in person or electronically. Sometimes Ss are struggling but we won't know unless they tell us. #ci149
@MkmoTeacher @CameronAMorales Just getting a grade isn't helpful. I didn't provide enough examples or I missed the 7 steps to prove my understanding, etc. #ci149
@alexelise000 Another Q is whether Ts are allowing Ss to retake tests, redo problems from feedback or is just that Ss are retaking b/c their grade was bad? #ci149
I think it is hard because a rubric doesn't necessarily show learning. Not sure how else to assess learning, but a grade doesn't always reflect it. #ci149
