The Cockroach Janta Party calls for a peaceful protest march at India Gate, New Delhi on September 5.
The National Working Committee expressed serious doubts over whether the Government of India intends to honour its commitments made to the young generation on July 25.
Therefore, a peaceful protest march is called for which will start at the India Gate all the way till the new Delhi Police Headquarters. The protest will be led by the families of the NEET students who died by suicide and victims of July 20 police brutality.
We will not accept this vishwasghaat with Gen Z, the young protesters, and the families of those who died.
September 5. India Gate.
The young will gather again.🪳✊🏻

Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand, the SIR takes a predictable turn
Just 5 BJP-linked men across 5 constituencies filed 6,500 objections seeking to remove voters from the rolls. Every single voter they targeted is Muslim.

Cover Story | The Modi government’s appointment of pliant, unqualified and ideologically aligned vice-chancellors to most of the country’s public universities is a widely reported fact. Many come from the Sangh Parivar, while others are unscrupulous bureaucrats who gained the trust of the regime in the past decade. A member of the NEP’s drafting committee, who wished to remain anonymous, told me how this played out. “It’s the silliness of these universities,” they said. “It’s like what they say about Emergency: ‘We asked them to bend and they started crawling.’ Many universities want to be in the good book of the ruling regime. And so, they implement something blindly, without thinking, and then they say, ‘Look, we were the first to implement it. We are your biggest followers.’”

A recent NITI Aayog report said some 94,000 government schools were closed over the past decade, an average of 25 a day, contributing to a 2.26 crore decline in government school enrolment. The government schools’ share of total enrolment has fallen from 71% in 2005 to 49.24% in 2024-25.

“Its particles, its pellets, its pieces penetrated all over my face,” Shaikh Irshad Mansoori, a protester said, adding that it also struck him in his neck and shoulders. “And suddenly there I was bleeding a lot from my face, my shoulders and my neck,” he said. The Rapid Action Force, which comes under the Central Reserve Police Force, and which was deployed that day, dons a blue uniform.

SHOCKER. RAF chief ADMITS use of pellet guns and electric shock weapons on unarmed young students. UNACCEPTABLE. @AmitShah must answer in Parliament. https://t.co/hJr5TR0w7E
Mera kaam hai power ko question karna, aur main hamesha karti rahungi.
Women beater police officer ADCP Sandeep Lamba se poocha ki unhone ek ladki par haath kaise uthaya, toh "hato yahan se" bolkar apna muh chhupate hue nikal gaye.
He hasn't faced any action whatsoever for his appalling conduct.
Main unse yeh bhi poochna chahti hun, sir, apne ghar ki auraton par bhi aisehi haath uthate hain kya? SHAME. SACK LAMBA. ✊🇮🇳
