@stepsupportcam I solved this problem over 10 years ago in my preparation for STEP. I instantly remembered it when i saw this as the question was so obsurd!
@Sh8844@HigazyMr@CoreMath80@HigazyMr has applied the formula that you’ve said. He’s then showing that after applying the formula, the resulting number is not divisible by 2024 in order to answer the question

I love these puzzles, but in the comments i see someone got offended by the 'are you smarter than a 12 year old?' tagline -- while i alway felt it was tongue in cheek, can this sort of title make people feel stupid and therefore put people off maths?
