Nonprofit in San Francisco Bay Area installing solar electricity systems on small-energy-footprint homes and on nonprofits with the help of trained volunteers
We are proud to announce 8 finalists during #ICLEIcongress for the round one of the #ICLEIActionFund. Made possible through funding from https://t.co/BFSZNrqCGu, it will provide 3 awards of $1mil to accelerate city climate action plan implementation while addressing inequality.

Today, on the summer solstice, our Earth will soak up about 7,600 exajoules of solar energy. To put this into perspective, 7,600 exajoules are equal to about 15 times the amount of energy that is used worldwide in a year. We are here to help turn solar energy into power!
Earth Day and 10 years of Everybody Solar. We are grateful for all we have accomplished and look forward to strengthening many more nonprofits in the coming years. Take a minute to watch our celebratory video! https://t.co/V3R1oIsWgl https://t.co/mrZWpclZPA
Groundbreaking leadership from @AirResources calling on @GavinNewsom@CalEnergy to require all-electric appliances for new buildings ASAP in the 2022 code cycle. #AllElectric2022 standards are necessary to meet our state's climate, health, and equity goals
Homes that cook w/ gas have 50% to 400% higher levels of toxic NOx pollution than homes w/ electric stoves—and children's lungs are especially vulnerable to the health consequences. @CalEnergy: Take action to cut pollution in homes w/ an #AllElectric2022 building code.
Not even catastrophes like these seem to bring any political action. How is this possible?
Because we still fail to make the connection between the climate crisis and increased extreme weather events and nature disasters like the #AustraliaFires
That's what has to change.
Now.
Stopping climate change is only expensive compared to an imaginary world where climate change doesn't exist. It's *incredibly cheap* compared to the actual cost of a 3 degree warmer world.
