@FranYanor Are you a lawyer Fran? Did you sit through the weeks of testimony the judge heard? Unlike you, B.C. judges are non-partisan, so I’m gonna consider the merits of her decision over your non-expert analysis.
@TylerTylerson33@guyfelicella@AdamZivo Sure. So is substance use. But it’s unfair to blame those trying to find downstream solutions to save lives when the real problem is failing to stop it in the first place.
@TylerTylerson33@guyfelicella@AdamZivo Yes. Illegal drugs are a huge problem. A shame enforcement - which gets the VAST majority of money spent on it - seems unable to fix it.
@VancouverSun Misleading tweet @VancouverSun. The ruling found it violates Charter rights to life for a tiny number of Canadians. It is not a free pass to traffic drugs.
@MikeKlassen Most people had unglamorous first jobs. The problem with ABC is you left normal hardworking people in the dust when you got in bed with the Wall Financial Corp. and other developers.
@_MarkMyWords___@ClaireRattee It’s ok to take an L when facts trigger you. Look into it, you might learn something. Or would your quack hero Julian slap your hand for that?
@TylerTylerson33@guyfelicella@AdamZivo The safe supply option has been restricted, and hydromorphone can’t meet a high tolerance for opioids. DULF’s program was working, participants were getting stable. Some were ready to taper and try treatment again. It’s more complex than calling the judge’s ruling disgusting.
@TylerTylerson33@guyfelicella@AdamZivo Really? When you’re addicted to street drugs that can kill you, and detox from them can kill you? The options are limited. The judge listened to weeks and weeks of testimony and said the CDSA violates their Charter right to life. We need better solutions.
@TylerTylerson33@guyfelicella@AdamZivo So then you must be aware that one of the common combos in street drugs now is fentanyl+benzos, which requires medically supervised detox or it can be fatal. And that members of the compassion club stabilized on their tested drugs, and none died?
