I’m very sad to hear about John Bogle’s passing today. His legacy will be felt by investors for many generations. One of the highlights of my financial planning career was meeting him in Brooklyn in 2012. He was very gracious and very funny.

@atpfm @marcoarment My favorite ATP moment was when Marco opened Episode 141 with “Happy Birthday, Brady Bhalla!” on my son’s 12th birthday. Many of his favorite podcasters emailed him birthday wishes that day, and he read those emails again two weeks ago when he turned fifteen.

@daringfireball When I read this six years ago, I created an OmniFocus task to read it to one of my kids (now 14, 12, and 10) every month. They never turn down a chance to hear it, and they don’t mind if I get a bit chocked up. It’s a great reminder to appreciate the time I have with my kids.
