If considering growing cover crops & you’re being told to apply 10lbs P/K or less:

You need cover. You need fast germ/establishment in stressful conditions. Thats P & K.

Mining is fine in surplus/strategically.

We don’t have surplus P.

K in forages often not surplus either

Measured 50” snowfall at 630 pm in Hamburg, NY outside the gas station along I90. Found a unimpeded flat area with wind coming from right side of this image. There are areas with more but I could not burrow far enough to reach those locations. @accuweather @NWSBUFFALO @JLAngeline

Yearly reminder panic herbicide sprays at late flag will not control weed escapes.

Assess, document & make a plan starting with fall burndown. Don’t jeopardize yield/MRL issues on revenge sprays. Weed issues didn’t show up in 1 yr, we won’t solve them in 1 yr either
