Jacob Rees-Mogg: “Brexit has made trading wine easier.”
Conservative Voter: “I am a wine trader of 30 years and I am telling you that it is much, much harder.”
JRM: “You are wrong”
These people should never be anywhere near government again.

@joe_thwaites @LFChistory@SimonBrundish Rubbish. There are old boys in the Lower Cen who have been to the game for 50 years who sit in silence every game. And, regularly, fans who are clearly not from Britain turn up and sing everything they can.
@zakjm7 Believe it or not, some people actually *do* just think genocide is bad, rather than being a political pathway to navigate on LBC in order to get elected.
Some politicians actually stand for things.
Starmer just happens not to be one of them.
@youellog @lukeakehurst@OXIagain Imagine thinking that ‘Christian’ was the thing he needed to correct in that statement.
Luke telling on himself again.
@6froggy@HenryJackson87 Said exactly that at the time. All the funnier considering he’d had Arsenal training under speakers with YNWA playing…
Then absolutely blew the atmosphere up by acting the bell
Keir Starmer is reportedly threatening to sack any Labour frontbench MP who votes for a ceasefire tomorrow. What a complete lack of moral leadership.
The SNP will force a vote on a ceasefire. This is a plea for every MP to do the right thing and vote with their conscience.
@ThomasWillett9 Looking forward to seeing the incredible uplift in fundraising that follows a TERF tantrum.
Always good to compare to the good trans activism can do to the unproductive bile of GCs.
Just the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Could anything be less vague than a request for a ceasefire? They’re asking that people cease firing. It’s literally a command given on a battlefield, designed to be so concise and understandable that it can be understood under fire.
@Streettough It’s the Human Shields fallacy.
Traditionally, if a criminal is using a child as a human shield, the idea is that authorities *shouldn’t* obliterate the child to get to the criminal.
IDF missed the memo…
