@ModernWarzone feel like a lot of cod players dont play other fps - once you play something else and then return to omnimovemnt you realize its absolutely unnecessary and honestly a bit jarring.
When I moved to BF, i didnt miss it, when I returned to cod, it felt like something was wrong
@LemonadeUpgrade Not saying its right and not indicative of sensitivity in the community - but this same post w/o the uninstall image gets way less negativity if you post it.
Its similar to streamer clips of them quitting a game and uninstalling on stream.
@lutyrannus i think its better but yes, need time to get used to it. its the only are im struggling getting used to but objectively it us an improvement
@PaulTassi You are weird man. That trailer today really got you in your feelings, and thats awesome but your directing those feelings in a really lame way and direction. Be sad but happy and enjoy the moment Destiny is about to have.
@QuiteShallow going in from a place of pure curiosity - not caring if you hate it and not hoping you like it might be the best. I went in expecting to play a couple rounds and never actually buying the game to preordering and playing for almost 300hrs. Went in with a “lets see” mentality 🤷🏻♂️
@VileSoup what mode/maps are you playing? ive stuck to perimeter because Ive been playing with f2p IRLs and just trying to focus knocking out the early contracts and while ive found good stuff at worst ive run into teams with 1 maybe 2 blue shields. Maybe once I leave itll be worse 🤷🏻♂️
@ModernWarzone I wouldnt say cooked but i mean its possible. He also used non peak numbers tho - last 24 hour peaks for both has Marathon higher than d2. By no means it as high as anyone would like
Marathon is scratching the itch (more tbh) for me that warzone used to. DMZ is a big opp for cod
@AbbyParent22217@PaulTassi I didnt think id like the game and I love it. I hope it does well, its not perfect and it will have a ceiling due to the genre for sure.
Its just not the reason this is happening. Id be happy for the d community if d3 were announced, i really would despite having no interest
@AbbyParent22217@PaulTassi If its more expensive to develop and to run, then the $ sign may be larger but their profit is likely slimmer or negative. Im not saying Marathon will ever hit d numbers - im just saying they are willing to gamble on it over destiny that is purely been on a decline for YEARS 🤷🏻♂️
@Arrrrash they should have maybe had the “mid” gold float around for people to get a taste and then had greens and blues be the most common with purples available via map events max.
wanting to get people out of gray shields makes sense but purp+ is insane this early.
@PaulTassi and it may fail but if it fails its less of a loss than continuing to put everything into d2 or developing d3 that wont release until 5 years from now. Your game is “ending” and i get thats not fun but you know the reasons and its not Marathon
@PaulTassi Which game is cheaper to run/develop new content for? and which game is MORE likely to grow rather than spike then continue trending down?
You seem to really look at games as a business but cant take your fandom out of the equation of money. Its cheaper and less risky. Thats it
@BattlefieldComm almost all great stuff but stuff being mid s4 and s5 is so unfortunate. legitimately the game is going to be 20x better than it was at launch 1 year later lol
@SkyAsassino not a bad idea - its gotta be something worth it for sure. Im still loving the game but there is a charm of having to work your way up to green, blue, purple shields that is def lost. tbh guns and attachements idc but shields change the game so much.
