Friends of Karanda Hospital are hosting a braai/barbecue on 15 August at Alexandra Sports Club in Harare, and they need our support.

Karanda Hospital has saved thousands of Zimbabwean lives, especially during times when public hospitals had no medicines or functioning medical equipment.

It is a vital health institution, and we must support it to help save even more lives.
Let us stand with those who stood by us when the system failed; Karanda saved our loved ones when no one else could.

This is more than a barbecue, it is a chance to say thank you with action.

This is Munyaradzi Gwisai addressing university lecturers, including professors at the University of Zimbabwe today in Harare.
He is the legal advisor for the Association of University Teachers at the University of Zimbabwe and also a law lecturer at the same university.

Gwisai said the strike by the academics is not just about the lecturers, who earn US$230 (R4,181) a month, but also about the underpaid working class of Zimbabwe.

People get in business to make money…and not necessarily to appear righteous and like-able…

Congratulations Winky on NAMA peoples choice, no doubt he is a crowd favorite so aligning your brand with him, if the followers suit the product is a genius move.

Now when one thinks of SWAN, Winky comes to picture… I hope in his deal with Swan he also charged them Brand Association Costs… He can’t only charge stage fee with such a set up! NOP, it is unfair for his brand.

Winky D is a “GOAT 🐐”, i do not care who thinks otherwise… they are 2 GOATS in Zim and both are exceptional.

The choice of aligning him with that brand, was a master piece, his following suit well with the brand.

Swan could have chosen to give Winky D that 2K at the end of the show but to do it during the show was purely a pre-meditated business decision to get us talking and getting the brand trending!

The Zimbabwean state is a crime scene!

In Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Youths purchased 17 Nissan Navara trucks.
Only 7 were delivered, the other 10 were looted.
Out of those 7, four were not registered in the ministry’s name.

They steal, they are incompetent, and they don’t care because they know that Zimbabweans will just read and wait for the next looting scandal.

The gravy train continues to move with relatives, friends, their children, girlfriends, and surrogates on board, while hospitals in Zimbabwe don’t even have paracetamol!

It is appalling that government officials can so blatantly misuse public funds, and even more so that there are seemingly no consequences for their actions.

The complacency of the general public, who read about these scandals but don't demand justice, is a big part of the problem.

The Government of Zimbabwe bought 18 cars for the Attorney-General’s office from Byword Trading and Paza Buster for a total of US$907,930.
US$374,430 for 7 cars from Byword Trading and US$533,500 for 11 cars from Paza Buster.

NOTHING was delivered, and the government kept quiet!

In any country, this would be an outrageous massive corruption scandal, but not in Zimbabwe!
The Attorney-General's office is just another victim of the rampant looting of public funds in Mnangagwa’s corrupt regime.

The fact that not even a single car was delivered is just crazy but the norm in this corrupt regime, yet the government officials concerned kept quiet because they were part of the plot.

The staggering amount of money wasted on these non-existent cars could have been used to purchase much needed medical supplies, provide clean drinking water, or provide education and books for children in need.
It is truly heartbreaking to see public funds squandered like this.

The fact that these thieves would brazenly use the Attorney-General’s office of all departments to loot public funds just shows how deeply corrupt this regime is.

The pictures below are of Virginia Mabhiza who is Zimbabwe’s current Attorney-General and her predecessor, Prince Machaya who was in charge when this looting took place!

The fact that the Attorney-General's office, which is supposed to uphold the law, has been compromised in this way is a damning indictment of the Zimbabwean government's failure to root out corruption.
