“Comic Book Movies are not art”
“We need to save Cinema”
“What will these films give you?”
Name another movie that gave you the feeling of watching this for the first time…
Martin Scorsese says manufactured content isn’t cinema.
“It’s almost like AI making a film. That doesn’t mean you don’t have incredible directors & special effects people doing beautiful art. But what does it mean? What will these films give you?”

How do I know #FantasticFour was better than Superman?
I would have only added to Fantastic Four. The movie didn’t need it, but a few additional scenes would have been cool to see. Maybe 20 more minutes with a quick visual of the team getting their powers, an extended villain montage, or more Galactus destruction.
With Superman, there were so many lines and scenes I’d cut or change. Every other moment was filled with cringe humor or jokes that totally missed the mark.

The title on the back appears to read “Ears Acquired”, possibly in reference to Deadpool finally coming to the MCU and getting his Mickey Ears.
#Deadpool3
1. Lack of interest in the characters
2. Poor marketing and build up of anticipation
3. Comic book movie fatigue
4. Quantumania, Thor: L&T, Secret Invasion
5. Strikes and inability to promote
#TheMarvels
I don’t think The Marvels flopped because it’s female led, but I wouldn’t use those examples to support that argument. For one, Captain Marvel was in between Infinity War and Endgame, during the MCU’s peak.
Black Panther 2 was the sequel to one of the biggest and most beloved comic book movies ever. People also wanted to see how they handled the loss of CB and pay respect to his character.
And even though each of the Star Wars sequel movies was female led, they were mostly driven to success by old characters like Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, Lando, Darth Vader, Palpatine, and the value they have to fans and the overall story. There was also a massive amount of rumors, speculation, and curiosity about who Rey was. People wanted to see how the Skywalker Saga ended regardless of if they liked the films or not.
I’m not saying that female led films can’t succeed, and I don’t think hate toward the cast is justified or right, but I believe The Marvels flopped for a variety of reasons.
CBM fatigue and the current state of the superhero genre, with many recent mediocre projects, has hurt interest and viewership. 2 of the 3 leads were introduced in Disney+ shows, while the other’s character hasn’t been widely loved or popular in the MCU.
There just isn’t enough interest in the characters or the Multiverse Saga so far. Audiences want to feel a connection to characters and I don’t think there is much of that with The Marvels.
Quantumania, Love and Thunder, and Secret Invasion have really left a bad taste in the mouth for Marvel content too.
That being said, there was also poor marketing to build up anticipation and it felt like there were no stakes to the film. Another massive reason is the SAG-AFTRA strikes, and the cast couldn’t properly promote the film.

You just know what the worst people on the internet gonna say but No, The Marvels did not flop* because of it's female leads. Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, Black Panther 2 and 4 female-led Star Wars movies all made more than $800 million worldwide. There are other factors in play
#LokiS2 Episode 2 Review:
This episode leaned super heavy on some amazing performances from the main cast. The interrogation scene was incredible and we finally got to see some flashes of Loki’s villainous side again.
Very dialogue heavy, but that’s okay because the writing and chemistry is great. I’m excited to see where it all leads!
8/10 #Loki
Marvel has let go of all of the writers and directors for ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN.’
The series will get an entire creative overhaul as Marvel execs, including Kevin Feige, reportedly reviewed the footage filmed so far and decided that the show wasn’t working.
