SuperDebate is recruiting participants for a new series of online debates covering AI, politics, culture, technology, and the future.
You don't have to be an expert.
You do have to be willing to argue your case in front of others.
What's one topic you'd gladly debate in front of a live audience?

Big news for SuperDebate.
Stephen Nilsen (Stix) is joining our Advisory Board.
Stix helped build cultural gravity around @redbull , @PabstBlueRibbon, and @LiquidDeath. He understands how brands become movements, how scenes form, and how people decide something is worth showing up for.
That matters because debate already has the substance. The arguments are real. The stakes are real. The skill is real.
What we’re building now is the culture around it: clubs people are proud to belong to, events worth attending, and a competitive debate scene built for adults.
We’re opening 20 clubs in 2026.
Welcome to the board, Stix.

We're organizing a new series of SuperDebate events on AI and technological progress.
Some will be online. Some will be in person.
We're looking for people who want to argue serious positions on where AI is headed, what it will make possible, and what it might destroy.
You don’t need to be a professional debater.
You just need a real view and the willingness to defend it clearly.
I’m especially interested in people from different backgrounds:
AI optimists
AI skeptics
builders
founders
researchers
artists
policy thinkers
educators
people worried about labor, creativity, safety, governance, or human meaning
The point is not to create another panel where everyone politely agrees.
The point is to put strong ideas in the arena and let people test them.
Online debates will be the easiest way to participate. Live events will follow as the series grows.
If you’re interested in debating, judging, helping organize, or suggesting topics, comment below or message me.
SuperDebate is building a better arena for the arguments that will define the future.
Everyone argues. Few compete.
Hey friends,
@SuperDebateClub is looking for a founder-level growth and marketing lead.
We are building a new cultural arena for structured debate: live events, local clubs, tournaments, digital content, and eventually a national league.
The right person is not just a “marketer.” We’re looking for a proven operator who can help make debate feel urgent, social, credible, and culturally relevant again.
Someone who understands brand, community, growth loops, partnerships, events, and storytelling.
We already have:
-A strong founding vision
-A working product
-An incredible advisory board (including the former Head of Cult at Liquid Death)
-Early event traction
-A serious roadmap
-Active fundraising conversations
Now we need the right growth partner to help turn this into a movement.
If you know someone who would be excited by the mission of bringing healthy, structured debate back to society at scale, please tag them below or send me their profile.
Is America still a republic?
@austin_union closes its 2025-26 season with that question tonight in Austin.
Formal Open Forum. Citizens sitting with a hard question, hearing both sides, sharpening their own thinking in the room.
This is the work. Live, in-person, structured debate.
SuperDebate is building a professional league for it.
The Austin Union is building a civic institution around it.
Different shapes, same mission: bring the discipline of argument back into the culture.
Is democracy the best form of governance?
Or is it just the best system we have learned to defend?
Questions worth debating:
Does majority rule create legitimacy?
Are voters informed enough?
Do media and algorithms distort consent?
Could better systems outperform democracy in some cases?
What’s your take?
Defend it, challenge it, or propose something better.

Automation is forcing a bigger question than “which jobs disappear?”
If machines can do more of the work, what happens to income, dignity, incentives, and purpose?
Universal Basic Income used to sound fringe. Now it feels like one of the central debates of the next decade.
So here’s the question:
Will universal basic income become necessary in the age of automation?
What’s your take?
Dr. Iain Lampert is joining the @superdebateclub advisory board!
Founder of Authentalk. COO of @modernbrain . And one of the most accomplished active competitors in American debate.
A former @OpenAI researcher and a former White House AI policy adviser walked into a debate about whether we should regulate AI.
Within minutes, both of them dismantled the question.
The real argument was about something much bigger.
Here is what we found when we scored it.
1/ AI might take your job, rewrite your kids' education, and reshape your government.
But nobody's asked you to argue your side. Until now.
SuperDebate just made AI our official topic of the year.
3/ The conversation needs voices like @PeterDiamandis@ESYudkowsky@sama and many others.
"The AI Doc" just hit theaters. Congress is holding hearings. Every company on earth is figuring out their AI strategy. The public conversation is loud, but it's shallow.
If you know someone who should have a voice in the AI debate, tag them.
