@rastokke I wrote my "times table" 1 thru 12, then 2 thru 12, etc...that was the paper for one name or checkmark. I developed a knot on my middle finger from holding the pencil. I memorized those numbers and never forgot...I'm no whiz at math but I was better than many..

@rastokke So true! In 5th grade, we had to handwrite our multiplication tables for every time we got our name on the chalkboard for talking in class. At one point, i had my name on the board and several checkmark behind it (yeah, I was a chatterbox!)..
