My favourite thing about this show is that Ted and John almost never actually contribute to the plot. They just sit in the corner quipping while Matty, Susan and Blaire advance the episode's story and it's never not hilarious.
Let's play a game. What if I stood on the street outside his home, documented his comings and goings, and sold those records for money... how long until I’m arrested? And how are my actions materially different than the intended function of his product?
>Valve shuts down the steam store
>My PC stays a PC
>Sony shuts down the playstation store
>My PS5 is now a paperweight
Why is this so complicated to understand for some people
> AAA studio with toxic positivity culture puts out overpriced corpo slop
> gets criticism online
> plays victim
Next, gaming journalists will write about how "evil gamers are hurting innocent devs" because they just want people to unquestionably "consume product"
watching this makes me sad
the player can’t fail, they can’t pick a different route, and there’s no clever shortcuts or bonuses for doing well
if you suck, the guy will slow down
if you do great, the guy will speed up
the interaction will last exactly as long as it needs to for you to cross an invisible checkpoint marker
maybe you press x once or twice, but all you’re doing is holding the stick forward - maybe it even runs for you???
I dunno, it’s just sad really
it just feels so empty
when you play retro games there’s this sense of creativity, freedom, and enjoyment from the dev team
can they be crunchy in places?
absolutely
but at least it’s MEMORABLE
this game will be forgotten almost immediately after it comes out, and it will have contributed nothing to the medium
