@diaryoflydia_mh Have you tried daridorexant? I really struggle with sleep despite sedating meds (clozapine/quetiapine) and daridorexant has been amazing. Plus it’s not an addictive medication so can be used more long term
@IamCarrieagain Good luck with the induction Carrie! I’ve been going to the gym for 3 years now and taking that first step was the best thing I did. I was so scared to start with but after a few weeks I felt like I belonged
@IamCarrieagain I 100% get that feeling. Also I often feel like it’s been left to me to organise care. Cmht can’t communicate with gp and vice versa so I have to go between trying to get stuff like meds done (apart from clozapine clinic). I just don’t need the stress tbh
@IamCarrieagain Is this a postcode thing? I’m on quetiapine and clozapine and never been asked for a waist measurement. I’m with you, I don’t see how that would affect the care?
@IamCarrieagain Well done Carrie. I myself have extremely thick long hair and the thought of drying it overwhelms me too. Normally I try to wash it early in the day to dry naturally or failing that sleep with a towel over my pillow
@IamCarrieagain@lizabidobay Yes, Sussex. It is nice. I love a walk along the promenade in the evenings when I get the chance. I’m lucky to live where I do
@IamCarrieagain I take Q (+ clozapine) and get restless legs quite bad at night. I’ve been on a stable dose for 5+ years but I also have fibromyalgia. It literally feels like my bones have bees inside them! Hoping this is just temporary for you
@IamCarrieagain Buy a different flavour. Except then you have the problem of eating a whole tube of that flavour. But at least it won’t be a full tube of BBQ
