You can read our full policy here: https://t.co/TOyoRIHczq. We call for the decriminalisation of sex work because criminalisation makes sex workers less safe, by preventing them from securing police protection & putting them at greater risk of violence.
Our policy outlines what governments should do to better protect sex workers from harm, exploitation & coercion, including ensuring they can participate in development of laws, policies that affect their lives, & guaranteeing access to health, education, employment options.
Sex workers around the world are at high risk of human rights abuses including rape, violence, trafficking, arbitrary arrest & detention, harassment & discrimination.
