New Task:
Factions Calculations - Working Backwards and Generalising
This task gives plenty of practice calculating all four operations with fractions, with lots of patterns to spot and generalise algebraically.
Really excited to give this one a go in September!
Can any maths teachers out there who use @WRMathsSec let me know how they've found the resources so far? I'm thinking about it for KS3. Also, stupid question - no. of licenses - surely that's not the no. of students but the no. of teachers? It only goes up to 100!
Thanks 🤗
@sarah_stallard Hoping to get new sets of skills checks to the line up with WR schemes (as requested by many subscribers) by September ...they will be the new style 5 or 10 Qn ones to print or project...new sets at the click of a button
Are there any secondary schools covering the @WRMathsSec at KS3 on 3 hours per week who would be willing to chat (or for a visit) over the next few weeks?
Other than @missradders I'm not sure who else uses it so retweets would be much appreciated!

@SupportWrm@mrshawthorne7@missradders I'm looking at the WRM SOW to use as a 5 yr curriculum. Do any of you use it for the whole of ks3/4 or just up to a certain point? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you 😊

1/If you're using White Rose, I have made some check-ins in MS Forms for y7-10 for the next unit in the Spring term that you can duplicate to your area, modify if needed and set for your classes, answers are included. I will be making more...@mathsjem@mrbartonmaths@WRMathsSec

Added another resource today: solving one step equations with a focus on adding and subtracting, looking at the different fact families visible in the bar model.
Please let me know your thoughts! #mathschat@WRMathsSec
