What people don’t realize is Appalachia is gone, just like pre Katrina New Orleans is gone. There are entire towns that were wiped away and will not be rebuilt. Entire families have gone missing and some may never have anyone look for them.

It seems main Reason Asheville has not water is because the main water line that brings 2/3 of the water from the Laurel Ridge, Black Mountain reservoir is badly broken in different parts. On top of that the pumping stations are damage or without electricity.
