When I heard about the book “Husband Is Useless", I immediately knew the author would be an Igbo woman. And I was right.

And to everyone saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” please imagine you’re a married man coming home from a stressful day at work, only to find your wife reading a book titled “Husband Is Useless".

How would you feel?

Yes, I understand that the context of the novel may be completely different and the title might serves as a hook, but that still doesn’t justify the choice of such a title.

If you found your 12-year-old daughter reading a book titled “How to Su ck a Di ck" or “How to Fu ck Him Hard" , would you simply leave them to read it because “you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover”?

Of course not.

So please, spare me the “don’t judge a book by its cover” argument nonsense.
