We entered the Gurudwara during the protests and found protesters hiding inside. One of them was actively inciting people while using the religious site as cover. Police could not enter due to religious restrictions, and Gurudwara authorities had to step in and stop them.

John Bolton: Tariffs on India🇮🇳 are a BIG MISTAKE for the US🇺🇸

'It's a big mistake for the United States globally to have announced all these tariffs last year. The tariff issue has been handled with India particularly poorly for a variety of reasons, some of it having to do with the Russian aggression in Ukraine, some of it for other reasons. But any government has to look out after its own self-interest and, in this case, pursue tariff deals where they can.

It's a missed opportunity for the United States. There are a lot of possibilities for closer US-Indian relations on political, economic matters generally, and to have these tariffs out there as an issue makes it more difficult and increases taxes on Americans.

That's one of the fundamental things wrong. This is not simply injurious to India; it harms Americans too. That's why tariffs shouldn't be a normal tool of diplomacy.'

#IndianNavy’s indigenous stealth frigate #INSSahyadri arrived at Vladivostok, Russia, to participate in bilateral exercise #INDRA2026, scheduled from 13-18 Oct 26. The exercise aims to enhance maritime cooperation and interoperability between the Indian Navy and the Russian Federation Navy (RuFN).

The exercise will comprise professional interactions and operational engagements in harbour and at sea, strengthening mutual understanding and enhancing coordination in addressing shared maritime challenges.

India has the among the lowest data prices in the world. It is so good that I don't even bother to connect to local Wifi when I travel in India and just tether my phone to work on my computer. Indians routinely have dual SIM phones with large data plans because they are so affordable. Ambani's launch of Jio is directly responsible for the low data prices Indians enjoy.

India has among the lowest drug prices in the world (and going lower still). People who visit India buy medicines to take home quite regularly now.

India has among the lowest cost payment systems in the world in UPI.

On the other hand, Tesla is protected from Chinese competition in the US market, keeping EV prices higher in America than elsewhere.

Prime Minister Modi has worked hard to create a competitive economy where the benefits flow to the average Indian. His government does not tolerate monopolies. He has also actively promoted and encouraged a massive surge in startups and that is the best signal of a highly competitive economy.

Directly due to Modi government policy, Indian startups are making major advances in low cost rockets and that poses a threat to SpaceX the same say the Chinese EVs threaten Tesla.
