What did we learn this Christmas?

The nativist far-right and radical progressive left hate us for the same reasons:

—the left hates us for our economic success because they think it’s on the back of other minorities. The far-right hates us because they think it’s on the backs of white people.

—the left hates us for backing legal, high-skilled migration saying it’s on the backs of undocumented, low-skilled migration. The right hates immigrants. Period.

—the left hates us for upholding our spiritual values & traditions as they want revolution & want to burn it all down. The right hates us as we’re not Abrahamics and we are the most resistant religious group to be evangelization & religious conversion.

—the left hates us for fighting against caste laws that single us out & bring foreign identity politics to America. The right hates us because they want to throw caste in our face to otherize and problematize our religious traditions.

We will keep receipts as to who targeted us and who stood by us this Christmas Day.

This Hindu student used to work at Dominos, 478 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1X5, Canada. She claims she was sexually assaulted by the manager named Amarjeet Singh (can’t make out last name) she complained to the management and no action was taken and he’s still working there ! She’s still awaiting justice. She wants to warn all girls students coming to study in Canada that there are people like this around you and to be aware of them. She continues to fight for justice.

Absolutely and unequivocally against it! Have been against this caste thread when it emerged couple years ago. We worked to defeat it when it came up as an agenda item with the Santa Clara County Human Rights Commission. SB403 is just plain wrong and much ado about nothing. Such I'll-conceived and misguided policies are the reason why California is in a crisis today and sliding downhill fast.
