—hand, Steve finally found his way back to his corner of the garage. He sat on a stool and regarded the piece of junk motorcycle that sat before him.
Where to start?

Still unused to the layout of the tower, Steve wandered around for a bit between the kitchen on the 19th floor and the garage on the bottom floor. A lift was easy enough to find, it was when he got there that confused him.

@prominentagent —problem. Those who were left were still investigating.
“I know all about it. I was... unfortunately a target. We handled it.” A Stark invention was not a surprising explanation, although it still didn’t quite work in his head. “What have you got there?”
@prominentagent Steve pursed his lips, forcing himself to stand back. In his experience, it was always the safe way to do, question everything.
“Peg,” he started gently, “You don’t work here. This is not the SHIELD you started.”
He was surprised she had any idea about the HYDRA infiltration—
@BlitheFighter Steve pauses, taken off guard, then shrugged his shoulders. “Yeah,” he said simply.
He backtracked for a second to grab the keys and his jacket, then found her again. “Alright, let’s ride.”
@BlitheFighter Steve pursed his lips, unsure if he wanted to let her drive, but supposed it didn’t matter.
“Drive what?” he asked instead, following her.
@prominentagent —cool attitude.
“I– I should be asking you,” he said, pointing to the manila folder of information she was trying to hide, “I work here. You... well, you don’t.”
@prominentagent Steve’s head followed her, like if he looked away she would disappear. Was he going nuts? Was he seeing things?
Was it a dream?
But, no, she spoke. She looked harried, and flushed, like she had been worrying about something for a long time. It wasn’t like Peggy to loose her—
@BlitheFighter Steve chuckled. He rose from his chair and took both of their styrofoam cups to the trash.
“I don’t know about thankful. But it does mean that for now, there’s no evil happening, that we know of. For now.”
