No, surrender is not giving up. Surrender is expansion. Giving up is contraction. Giving up freezes us, causes us to be depressed, anxious. Surrender frees us, not freezes, frees us into joy, into alignment with what is. Giving up can be weakness. Surrender is always courage.
With much of the internet becoming effectively un-usable, may this be the year in which we log off, spend time outdoors, collect physical media, begin reading again. Too much time online is personally and collectively corrosive. There is no life in the digital void.
