Welcome aboard, Michelle! We're glad to have you.
Surface-Tech has a new headquarters.
We've relocated to 806 S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, California.
As demand for high-performance asphalt solutions continues to accelerate, our new headquarters gives Surface Tech the platform to scale: expanding our work with producers, pavers, engineers, agencies, and contractors who are building longer-lasting roads for our tax payers.

Honoring those who served and paved the way. This Memorial Day, Surface Tech’s ARCA solutions keep roads strong and lasting, supporting progress and remembrance.
Wishing you a meaningful day.

Pavement carbon math, in two numbers.
+1% upfront.
−50%+ lifetime.
A 1% premium that delivers a 50%+ discount on the life of the road. New InForce report explains why aramid fiber is the most asymmetric sustainability lever in asphalt. The 1% Footprint That Cuts Pavement Carbon by 50% https://t.co/9lUlEFksl9
This Mother's Day, we honor the women who lead at home, at work, and everywhere in between.
Surface-Tech is proud to support the minds that move the world forward — one mother at a time.

194, 182, 230 The middle number is what happens when aramid fiber is not ACE XP.
Yesterday I said we had the test data. Here it is.
Rowan University CREATES and the US Army Corps of Engineers ERDC published a peer-reviewed Digital Image Correlation study comparing aramid fiber reinforcement systems. Plant-produced NJDOT 9.5ME76, PG 76-22 binder, four mixtures: control, PFA at 0.05%, ACE XP at 0.01% and 0.02% by mix weight.
Full executive summary attached. Open-access paper: https://t.co/8hKu5Y4cha
Purity Over Plastic
“Not all fibers are created equal” is right—but why settle for a "blend" when you can have pure reinforcement at the 2.1 oz per ton ASTM International Standard. While others rely on polyolefin plastic carriers (dumping nearly 9,000 lbs of plastic into a standard 10k-ton job), ACE XP uses a 100% inert wax carrier with zero plastic content.
Choose the aramid reinforcement that strengthens your road without polluting the environment with forever plastics. Zero plastic. That’s the #SurfaceTech advantage.
Capture. Every job — plant to pave. In the field, on the phone, as it happens.
Track. Every ton. Every mix. Every mile. Tied to the PO, the JMF, the customer.
Prove. To the customer. To the DOT. To yourself.
That's the whole product.
One platform. Your operation, on the record.
Paving company problems.
Clipboards in the truck.
Spreadsheets in the office.
Photos lost on somebody's phone.
A PO number nobody can find.
We've been there. We've lived there. And for years we watched great crews do great work — and then lose the record of it somewhere between the plant and the invoice.
That's not a field problem. That's not an office problem.
It's a software problem.

We built it, we're finally ready.
TRKR is live.
Job tracking and real business intelligence, built from the ground up for asphalt. Not a generic CRM. Not a chatbot bolted to a spreadsheet. A platform that speaks your language — job site photos, reports, voice memos, locations, mix codes, dose rates, site conditions and all.
For paving crews that want their jobs tracked right.
For offices that want the paperwork to stop.
For companies that want to prove what they put down.
We'll be showing you what TRKR does, one post at a time, this week. Follow along.
Early access opens soon to all pavers.
We're proud to welcome Chris McCannell to the Surface-Tech Advisory Board.
Chris brings more than 20 years of Washington, D.C. experience to our team, currently serving as Deputy Managing Director of the D.C. office of GrayRobinson. His practice is focused on infrastructure and tax policy — two areas that sit at the very heart of what we do at Surface-Tech.
At Surface-Tech, we're advancing fiber-reinforced asphalt technologies that extend pavement life, reduce lifecycle costs, and support America's infrastructure goals. Having an advisor with Chris's policy reach and industry relationships is a force multiplier for everything we're building.
His client portfolio speaks for itself: Associated Equipment Distributors (AED), National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), and NATSO, among other leading national trade associations. Chris is known for high-level, bipartisan engagement that delivers results — helping shape landmark legislation including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (2017), the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (2021), and H.R. 1 (2025).
Before GrayRobinson, Chris led APCO Worldwide's Washington financial services and government relations practice and served as a director at Quinn Gillespie and Associates. His Capitol Hill roots run deep — Chief of Staff to Rep. Michael E. McMahon, Chief of Staff and Floor Assistant to Rep. Joseph Crowley (Ways & Means Committee, former Democratic Caucus Chair), and Press Secretary to Rep. Steny H. Hoyer.
Chris, welcome to the team. We're glad to have you.

Special thanks to Arizona Congressman Abraham Hamadeh and Arizona Congressman Greg Stanton for their bipartisan leadership and support of the upcoming federal highway bill. Advancing long-life pavements and responsible infrastructure investment requires collaboration across both parties—and Arizona continues to lead.
Cheers to new roads and new beginnings! Surface Tech’s ARCA solutions power durable, sustainable pavement for the year ahead.
Wishing you progress and innovation in 2026!
