NBA Play #1💉
Donovan Mitchell o8.5 RA (-112 FD) #LetEmKnow
BACK DMITCH IN A MUST WIN‼️
Collab w/@DoctorProfit and @SammyGprops 👀🔥
Mitchell torched the pistons in isolation which led to JB Bickerstaff postgame saying "They started to attack switches more, and then their guys went to more of their iso game. So again, we got to do a better job being in position to help one another. I thought our floor got a little more space than we normally are, and guys had opportunity to drive the ball and get to the paint and make plays from there." These adjustments should open more assist opportunities.
A large reason for this potential change of game plan from Detroit was because in the clutch, Duncan Robinson was getting cooked. He has been too important offensively in this matchup to take him off the floor, so the counter is to send help at the nail.
JB Bickerstaff was Mitchell's coach in prior seasons where teams would load up on Mitchell and the Cavs didn't have the shooters around him to help out. He has seen it work. But now, the Cavs have shooters that can knock shots down.
On the rebound side the Cavs bigs have been focused on boxing out Duren leading the guards to come in and snag boards: "everybody looked at Ev's one rebound [In game 3], but we don't understand why he had one rebound. He was in there boxing Duren and Stewart out. So then it's on us as guards to come in there and get that."
Donovan followed that quote up with 10 rebounds on 17 rebound chances in game 4, the same game where Jarrett Allen had a similar game to Mobley in game 3, boxing everyone out and only finishing with 4 himself.
What are the chances him and Gradey recreate the picture?💀

Back this DEMON against Boston‼️
Collab w/@SammyGprops 👀
1U Tyrese Maxey O 32.5 PA (-120 @ DK)
Boston's PnR coverage is to play drop and usually bring nail help at from a weakside defender. When the nail help comes Maxeys initial defender than peals to the wing to cover a shooter but Philly moved that shooter from above the key to the wing to make this switch almost impossible leading to open 3s off of maxey passes.
So now BOS has to counter by either not helping that action leading to great pull up looks for Maxey. BOS can also counter this by having Queta play a less deep drop in which case Maxey can just turn the corner and get to the rim.
Mazzulla was quoted saying they overhelped last game so we most likely see a lot of maxey pull ups and rim attempts here but if he's cooking they should go back to helping at the nail leading to assist upside. 28 FGA and 14 potentials last game, 88% hit rate with 20+ FGA and 10+ potentials this year as well as L 4/5 playoff games with that volume.

@scharlie222 My guy he went 1/4 at the FT line to end the 3rd Q with 16 and cashed early 4th then goes on to miss 3 more shots in a row😂 he makes 2 of his 13 missed shots tonight and he finishes with 22+ what is your point?

1U Stephon Castle o16.5 P (-120 BetMGM)
Bet on our WAGON against this disrespectful coverage tonight🐐‼️
Collab w/@SammyGprops 🔥
Going back and watching game 1 we can see the blazers running quite the odd defensive scheme in Clingan/Rob defending castle and leaving him wide open to defer to help on Wemby in the interior. This lead to 5 3pt attempts yet still 1/5 shooting. 4/13 from the floor in that game missing gimmes at the basket as well. Expecting better variance for Castle in a scheme he knows favors him to attack.
If the Blazers do switch things up here I expect them to move to a zone scheme in a sort of 4-1/ high 2-3 look. Let Clingan/Rob roam the interior and defer to leaving guys such as Castle and Fox open rather than Vassel/Champ/Wemby. Force this young team to make decisions and let them try and beat you elsewhere.
20 points per 36 which he can easily reach here in a close game, love this one.
Bump worth .85U🫡

Curry o8.5 RA | ESPN -130
4.17.26 Play #2 | #DubNation
w/ @austinsprops + @SurgicalYous
Curry has generated 7, 16 and 16 RA in three meetings vs PHX this season, all of which were with Jimmy Butler & Green, and none of which were with Horford/Porzingis - which shouldn't be a big change.
His two 16 RA games (31 & 23 Chances) both had a common denominator of Dillon Brooks being active for Phoenix.
However, Curry drew the most partial possessions on Collin Gillespie. The purpose of this was to have Brooks on Draymond Green, which in turn gets him involved whenever GSW runs their popular two-man game of Curry/Green.
Rebound wise, Curry sat corner almost each offensive possession, mainly guarding O'Neale and Goodwin. Post ASB, PHX sits dead average in OPP RPG & APG. Attached examples of times when Collin was not defending him, with PHX still doubling and Draymond unable to be involved.
With Playoffs here and boards to be dominated I want to offer everyone here a FREE WEEK in APDP discord to take advantage of what we have coming🔥
