What if… all the things we did because of the Industrial Revolution is us fucking over Death’s Plan again and again, and now it’s just Death trying to collect?
Our climate fiasco makes me feel zero motivation to go to work; it’s meaningless. Plus I’m working for a corporation that has no interest in helping the world, and will perhaps create even more profit-driven individuals. Education shouldn’t be for profit.
A year ago today, Plato, my beloved cat companion, went to the clearing at the end of the path. It was cancer. He was 15, and had gone through much of turbulence of my thirties with me. I miss him, and wish I could have done more.

The remains of heroic Syrian archaeologist Khaled Al-Asaad have been found near Palmyra today.
Al-Asaad was beheaded at 83 by ISIS in 2015 for refusing to lead them to the locations of Palmyra’s hidden antiquities.

Many think they’re on the right side of history. The truth is there’s no side. No right side, no left side. History just... is. Civilizations change values; Everything is process.
Drat. I’m on the other side of the planet and can’t see the Great conjunction irl but this SkyView app can show me where their positions are from where I stand. Imagine the world before ours!

Watched Grease on Netflix and I’ve got to say it did not age well. But in some way, it did: take away the now-questionable actions and you’ll find that they stem from essentially the same needs that we’ve had for so, so long -the need to belong, to feel loved and to love.
