Nicely to guys and even complimenting them!?! 😭😭 bhai I hate the professors and residents for being so biased during vivas and exams like why am I even studying so much to see this happen with me.
One thing I would always hate are male residents/professors who are highly biased towards “apparently attractive” female students(saying this as a girl) Had my surgery viva today. The audacity to take 30 minutes long viva of the girl before me and barely even 5 minutes for mine
Aree bhai mujhse history tak nhi puchi. Suna bhi nhi. Kyu hi padha itna. Also hate pick me female professors who would shit on females during vivas and be sweet with guys . Kal hi gynae ka viva hua and the way she literally went personal ?!?! Only to hear she was talking very
Medical horror level: 10/10. 🤯
Imagine dying not because you got cancer, but because your tapeworm did.
A @NEJM case report documented a man whose Hymenolepis nana parasite developed malignant stem cells. These tapeworm cancer cells then metastasized into the human host's lungs and lymph nodes.
It’s the first known case of a parasite "sharing" its cancer with a human. Medicine is officially stranger than fiction
This fucking lie.
No, you don’t spend anything on us.
The hospital exists independent of college.
AIIMS was created a hospital - not just for MBBS. Institutes like PGI don’t even have MBBS.
You can’t take health budget and divide by number of MBBS students and say we spend that much.
The budget for academics is 10% of entire budget of hospital.
If you spend - it’s 3-5L, not 30L/year.
And most govt colleges now already have 2-3L fees.
There is zero subsidy.
Tragic News: Young Intern Doctor Dies on Duty at SKIMS, #Srinagar
In a deeply heartbreaking incident, an young intern doctor from SKIMS, just months away from beginning his post-graduation, lost his life after contracting an infection while serving patients on duty.
He stood on the frontline of care; working tirelessly, healing others while battling fatigue, risk, and constant exposure , until his own health gave way.
Doctors may not fight at the border with guns, but they wage silent battles every single day ,against pain, disease, and death ,often with little protection, recognition, or reward.
The most painful truth? This dedicated young doctor was paid a mere ₹12,000 per month -A shocking reflection of how undervalued our medical interns truly are.
Medical associations have now urged the state government to grant ex-gratia compensation under the Employees’
Compensation Act, honouring his sacrifice made in the line of duty.
