No one else has done more to foster the continuous growth of the Twitter ORG community and as much as I’ve butted heads with Dominick over the years I’m incredibly proud to have such an amazing community leader as my flagship winner.

He won because he wanted it more than the rest of the cast combined. I don’t say that as an insult to the other 20 castaways because #SurvivorTCI⚡️is arguably one of the best Twitter LG casts ever assembled. I say it as a compliment to him, because he really is *that* good.

His ability to articulate how his moves would ideally play out and how he could adapt if ideal didn’t become reality was truly fascinating to watch happen in real time in DMs, particularly knowing he was 16 at the time. I’ve also been sitting on this screenshot for 5+ years.

He didn’t disappoint. I knew he wouldn’t. He won challenges, found idols, had more connections than you could count, poured every ounce of thought into his strategic positioning, and gave the viewers jaw-dropping moments that most casting directors can only dream of.

I turned down a lot of really good applications across my 3 seasons of hosting. I cut more people than I cast. Dominick had the lowest-effort application to make the cast of all 60 players and it’s not even close. I knew the name. And I knew I wanted him on my flagship season.

@weabstan14 @needysdream I was on an unexpected trip to Hawaii. I had 4 hours from the time I found out I was going to the time I had to be at the airport. Hosting on Eastern time from the middle of the Pacific Ocean was a logistical nightmare.
