From @WSJopinion: Victory or defeat in the Maine race will count for more than one Senate vote. It will also influence the tilt and culture of the next Senate and both political parties.

@WSJ@WSJopinion I agree. This is arguably the most important senate race in the history of this Republic.
Maine must choose between deepening the divide and polarization with Jackson or choosing Maine and bipartisan collaboration with Collins.
Stakes are high, go and vote Mainers for Susan!
“Alaskans deserve the honest truth from Mary and her campaign—what has been revealed is a pattern of lies and coverups and a culture of deception that belongs nowhere in our elections or among our elected officials,” Lisa Murkowski said in a statement. https://t.co/lxs6hSGEhm
Great to visit All States Materials Group in Limerick and tour their impressive quarry in Cornish — including the highest point in York County. All States’ crews provide the materials necessary to build and maintain the roads that Mainers count on every day.
Thank you for the tour and for the hard work that keeps our communities connected.
While some may try to write this off as just how politics works now, ballot-stacking should have no place in our electoral process. Run and win on your merits: your views, your policy ideas, and your accomplishments. By contrast, recruiting candidates to manipulate the field and influence voting outcomes is simply wrong. Alaskans deserve the honest truth from Mary and her campaign—what has been revealed is a pattern of lies and coverups and a culture of deception that belongs nowhere in our elections or among our elected officials.
@TheMaineWire Forget about accepting gifts from politicians, ProPublica are now GIVING gifts to politicians. Fraudsters framing the words of a flailing desperate convicted felon as "evidence".
The truth always comes out, but ProPublica are finished as a journalistic entity.
Bath built is best built. I was proud to greet the men and women of BIW’s second shift today, who do their work with dedication and skill.
That’s why I worked hard to secure the Pentagon's support for a second destroyer this year to be built at BIW, protecting these jobs well into the future.
2026 Watch-Today on @FoxNews - Asked about criticism from Democratic challenger @TroyJackson207 over her ability to land federal funding for Maine, @SenSusanCollins of Maine, at the Bath Iron Works, tells me "I worked very hard… to make sure that the funding was there for another destroyer to be built by the best shipbuilders in the world"
For nearly 200 years, Hussey Seating has been a cornerstone of the North Berwick business community, providing good jobs to generations of Mainers and manufacturing high-quality spectator seating used around the world.
Today, I visited Hussey Seating to meet with President and CEO Brian Deveaux and his team and to tour the company’s manufacturing facility.
I so enjoyed having the chance to speak with Hussey’s skilled workers, who are carrying on Maine’s proud tradition of manufacturing excellence!
Great news for transportation safety in Southern Maine: I am pleased to announce that more than $10.7 million has been awarded to the Town of Kittery through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program to improve safety and accessibility along nearly one mile of U.S. Route 1.
Between 2020 and 2024, 154 crashes occurred along this stretch of roadway, including three that resulted in fatalities or serious injuries. The planned improvements will help make this busy corridor safer for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike.
The 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law established the SS4A program to help communities reduce traffic-related deaths and serious injuries. As one of the 10 senators who negotiated that law, I am proud to see it continue to deliver significant investments in Maine’s transportation infrastructure.
@RedBullfrogPol@AceyRothstein He was a product of his time, that's no shock but his overriding political philosophy was far more comprehensive and forward-looking than Trump's
@HorEmperor@LucJGagnon@StefanFrancisci No this is my account that I use and have used for some time, I forgot I even bothered posting soccer content when I moved to Manchester the first time back in 2018, I decided to use it yesterday to help refute disinformation about this race because I still care about Maine.
@HorEmperor@LucJGagnon@StefanFrancisci Sorry that I take someone with years in the election data game seriously instead of throwing my toys out the pram when he's not saying red wave in a year that most pollsters project to be near double digits on the generic congressional ballot.
@Ckrause1990@LucJGagnon@StefanFrancisci Sorry I should've clarified I'm talking about the recent Wisconsin poll from Marquette which he is referencing that has Crowley leading by 7 amongst LVs. However the RV data is at least more promising and within MoE at 3 points.
That said LV screen more reliable so idk.
